Has anybody ever done on of those online surveys and acutually got paid?

Signing up with "Paid Survey" sites is a waist of time. They collect your name, email, home address and phone number. They sell your information to different places (List Emailing Services).

You will continue to receive bogus emails saying "You MAY be eligible to participate in a new survey"! Plus a bunch of SPAM like: Congratulations, you qualify for home mortgage, Lose weight now and the usual. People who usually fall for this are Internet newbies.

Every time I've tried one of those "complete a survey, win a prize things" it is a ripoff. It is basically just a bunch of links to ads, then eventually it tells you you have to buy something to qualify or it abends and you have to start all over.

I actually did tried those from a friend who is a sponsor. There were around 50 or so tries and for every survey done you get a few cents. I ended up a $1.50 from all that. You don't get rich doing it, but if you want to earn a few cents, then go for it.

Slimmanx3
so far i have made about $60 (note: i have been at it for about 2 years scary!!!)

Yes, I've gotten checks, money in my pay pal account and I've gotten things (small appliances etc) for points for surveys and gift certificates for amazon.com

read the terms and conditions
it's a scam/hassle
it's possible to get paid but it's very difficult

chicky
I did one that paid $25.00. I joined several sites, and most enter you into sweepstake contests. It's not really something that you can make money at.

I would recommend you to do Data entry job which is done by just entering simple data from home. This amazing system allows you to earn $1000 per day.
Check the link below for more details.
Hope this helps.

I do surveys with http://www.globaltestmarket.com/ and I've made about $240 since early last autumn... with Global Test Market, you can only cash out at $50 intervals, though.

They're usually pretty prompt with sending you your check, but I guess I should note that I've been waiting an unusually long time for my latest one - it's a good thing that customer service is pretty helpful, though.
