Some words of advice:
1. Email the seller several times with questions....the way the seller answers you tells you of their character and professionalism.
2. Extreem Caution when 'rating' the seller. Most times, they will wait until you give your rating, and depending upon what you say, they react. If you give them a negative or neutral rating, expect them to respond in UNKIND and try to damage your rating as much as possible. If you have nothing good to say of them - just Don't Rate Them - PERIOD.
My experiences with Ebay were terrific until the last two transactions. Seller #1 lived a block from my parents house, so I tried to schedule a pickup to save $18 in shipping and he said absolutely not. So, I gave him a NEUTRAL rating. He came back with a NEGATIVE on me and took my 4+ yrs as 100% to 93% in one swoop of a pen.
Seller #2 did fine with shipping, but the product was substandard. I NEVER gave a rating on that transaction because I was still suffering 'shell shock' from Seller #1.
Just be smarter than me & you'll do fine.
