Yep. Of course, that's not E-Bay's fault. They're just connecting people. You have to decide for yourself who to trust. Personally, I never trust people with less than 98% positive ratings, and if its between 98 and 99%, I'm still very careful. I'm also careful about buying from new sellers who have less than 10 or 20 transactions listed. Even then you'll sometimes get burned, but it's not a perfect world. I figure I'm always taking a chance when I buy something through the mail, but I've had mostly good results. Had a couple of bad experiences recently, though, so I'm a little bit jaded these days.
I definitely use PayPal nowadays, so that I have the means to dispute and get refunds easily. |

most people don't know the difference between "x day shipping" and when it actually will arrive. Whether it be overnight, two day, three day shipping, the "x days" is the time it takes the package to get to your house ONCE the package arrives at the delivery service (UHL, UPS/Fed Ex). If the person you bought it from doesn't actually ship it till two weeks after, then the total time it takes to get to your place is still two days. because thats how fast the delivery service will take to get you your package. You still haven't taken to account the fact that the seller has to get it to UPS/FedEx.
Call up the guy you bought the item from and find out when he sent it. If he said he sent it give him 3 days, and then if you still don't get it, cancel the charge on your account and file a complaint against him. |

contact the buyer first and ask for a tracking number on the shipment if available.

Only once, usually it's good. If you paid with paypal you have to open a dispute with them within a month I think. Otherwise you open a dispute with ebay. There should be something on the homepage. Definitely try emailing or phoning the seller. |

I have had real good luck with eBay purchased about 12 items .Arrives well within advertised time and items where as described. I always checked the rating of the seller and reviews before I bid. You didn't say how you paid for item, when you purchased. If you sent check or money order they are waiting for it and the clearing check. If paypal or credit card then depends on mode of shipping its usually ground that could take 7 days after shipped. |

I'd worry about tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Two day is good but doesn't make a difference if they haven't dropped it off yet. Also some eBay items are "fronts" for ordering from a warehouse...Ebayer sells items then orders from wholesaler then it's shipped to buyer. Jot the Ebayer a note requesting time of expected delivery. If not luck in a few days then open dispute. |

I have had no issues with eBay purchases.
Contact your seller first. Let the seller know that if you have not received your item within the next 48 hours and have not heard from him during that time frame, you will be contacting eBay directly as well as posting a negative feedback....this will put a fire under the seller
