Have you ever seen a ghost? When and where?

Yes.

Several years ago I rented a two bedroom house on a golf course. I wasn't impressed with the location -- I needed a house I could afford that would allow large dogs, and this was the place. The house was old (built in the 40's), in an old section of town, and had several things wrong with it, including a landlord who took my first, last and security, assured me that the roof didn't leak (the shingles looked suspect), left the country after depositing my check and when it rained a few days later the roof in my bedroom poured.

After things started settling down in the house I started having dreams that someone was berating me in German, a tall, slender old man. These dreams were right around daybreak.

The man in the dreams was very adamant, very unpleasant. Finally, I woke up during one of his tirades, and he was standing next to my bed! And going on and on and on!

I hadn't taken any German classes since one semester of German 101 with a thoroughly obnoxious teacher several years before, so I could identify the language but not what he was saying. But, since he had established contact there was no getting rid of him. I saw him every morning, and although I couldn't see him outdoors, I could hear him while I did yardwork, and especially when I trimmed a tall hedge that separated the boundary of my rental home from the city shoulder right of way.

One day I visited my neighbor across the green. She was a senior, and had lived in her house forever, so I figured she knew everyone who lived there. Margaret knew immediately who I was seeing, a previous owner of the house. He had been strict, and very mean -- and a wife beater. I don't remember his name, but that his wife's name was Jean, and she would not leave him.

Margaret told me he was a demanding person who expected everything kept immaculately, would never have allowed pets in the house (she thought that was the reason I was seeing him, my large dog and cat and bunny were all indoor pets) and as for the hedge...Well, whatever plant the hedge was had long branches that when left to grow naturally fell in graceful arches, and I trimmed to cultivate that growth pattern. This man was known to pull out a ladder and stand on it with a chain saw, and he cut that hedge boxy and absolutely straight, even using a level on the top.

Margaret finished by telling me that I would not have liked him.

Traditionally, you tell these beings that they are dead and ask them to return to the light. Because I was furious that he beat his wife and got away with it, I gave him grief. He railed at me in German, I projected my loathing of him in English. The pets stayed in the house, and we argued over the hedge. In the end, because I have a body and he doesn't, I won and he left.

Not a scary, hair-raising story, but there it is.

i am not sure if they were ghosts or i was just dreaming in a hotel after a hard job

I have never seen a ghost, but I know of people who said they have seen a ghost. When I was growing up I have always been afraid of the unknow( still) but if a ghost appeared to me I would do as someone told me 2 do ask it what it's doing here or what do they want? Ghosts do not appear because they want to harm they appear for other reasons

hard topic fo ppl to be honest about., i think i saw one when i was younger. i was wide awake and saw an old lady standing and then a train seemeed to pass by. I think ppl dont realize they have seen ghosts cause thereare so many skeptics out there. Ghosts exist, its only a matter of whether you are open to believing in them.. they dont appear to those who dont want to see them. Denial is very powerful!

I've never seen a ghost, but I've had an experience In a place called Silver City, Idaho

Saw a little boy ghost once at work..Thought I mostly feel like im not alone when i am or that im being watched when no one else is there.

No but there is something strange going on my kitchen. Some writing appears.
My mother is law saw the ghost of her late husband...but just half of it. And when he was alive, he swore that he and plenty of others saw the same ghosts on the road : a cyclist appearing out of nowhere, cars crashing onto the cyclist......and no corpse and no bicycle when they stoppped to look...

I was sitting on a sofa in the Rec room of the Condo association where I lived at the time chatting with freinds
when I looked up and saw a resident named Gene Babow, sitting at a table with a black dog at his feet .He looked at me, smiled nodded then He suddenly went transparent and dissapeared. Shaken and puzzled, I asked if anyone had heard from him lately (he had Been ill).Later we found out that He had died in a hospital probably almost exactly at the time I saw him.

I have, I have seen a ghost ! His name is CASPER !

no ghost don't exist they are only a product of your imagination when you are scared ..... if you don't believe me try going to a grave yard at night and you will think you can see ghosts there... the mind can be quite tricky sometimes....... a man when to the grave yard and he felt like someone was grabing his coat he died of a heart attach and later in the day everyone saw only that he got stuck to a branch.....

yes and i michagin in a three story manchione it was sitting on a piano bench just sitting there looking at me i got sacred and went back to sleep

My mom saw a ghost dog run down the stairs and jump through a door...

ive seen one i think it used to dance in the days i think its name was micheal jackson oh hes scary sometimes i have dreams of him under my bed woooo.

Yes, I have seen ghosts on more than one occasion but when I tried to talk to them they won't answer. What's up with that? I want to know why they're here.
