yes, it is. You need to check with your state to see what actions you can take. and you need to find out WHY youoccurrences did this.

The rule is if one party is 3 years and a day older than a party under 18 (or in some states as young as 17 or 16)it is considered statutory rape.
Just because you CAN press charges against this young man, does not mean that you SHOULD press charges against him. I believe that you should not try to ruin some other childs life because your daughter agreed to have sex.
UNLESS your daughter is mentally ill or retarded, OR you realy believe that he coarsed, tricked, undully influenced or humiliated her afterwards.
Its important to talk to your daughter about sex early. Its very common for children to experience their first sex encounter at 13. |

No it's not. But you may be able to get a sympathetic cop to instill the fear of God in the boy. Your daughter needs activities to keep her busy. Get her in things like martial arts, swim classes, any thing available to take up her time. Have something planned for her from the time she wakes up, till bed time. |

No it is not. As long as the boy is not over the age of 18 then you have nothing to worry about because he is not considered as a man. You can get a restraining order so he won't come near her but that the most they can do. or, contact socil services and they can provide you with information and you can take t from court there. Iknow you're devastated so just relax and contact a social woorker. |

if your daughter did not want to "do it" and he made her "do it" with him then yes it is rape.BUT,if she wanted to "do it" with him then no she did not get raped and he and she needs to get PUNISHED!! |

I believe you have to be over legal age yourself...as in over 18. Otherwise, it is considered sex between two minors and that is not a crime. |
