I kinda enjoy the show myself, but not to the point of watching it alone, though.
The point is that everybody has its own tastes, preferences and "things that make us feel better", and there's nothing wrong in doing them as long as they don't harm anybody.
Fun is a very relative thing that varies with each person.

No way!! My mom is 52 & watches Sponge Bob with my son & I. She laughs her butt off when she watches it! SpongeBob ROCKS!!! They do have Sponge Bob Monopoly out now that I may get my son for his birthday. Keep watching & those who say you have a problem do not understand the humor in Sponge Bob. Hes like a grown kid! |

You are right there is a lot of adult humor. I watch it with my children every day. I find myself laughing at times they are not. My kids look at me like I am wierd. I think just as many adults like it as children. |

Not at all - I'm a closet SBSP fan too - I used to think it was utterly stupid but then started watching w/ my kids and found out he was really sweet with a cool personality.
HOWEVER, my affection for Bugs Bunny, one smooth dude, is not in the closet. And talk about your "inherently adult humor"! |
