It depends on what the parents can afford; if they're high-paid working couple ($70K or more a year), then $15 an hour, to a maximum of $150 a day, should be reasonable. But if the parents are struggling, blue-collar, low-income workers, then I wouldn't go beyond $8 or $10 an hour, and you might have to take partial payment if they're financially struggling. Just take ½ payment now, and collect on the balance on their payday. |

I would say to charge ten an hour unless it is more than 3. then for every extra child over the initial three i would charge an additional dollar an hour. People pay a lot these days but it definately depends on if the family can afford it. |

It depends on a lot of things. If you are younger, as in 11-14, you have to charge less than if you were in college. What I would do if I were you, would be that i charge $8 per hour for the first kid. Then, for each additional kid, it would be like $2 or $3 more per hour.
Good Luck and have fun babysitting! |

How old are the kids?
If they are out of diapers do a flat of $10 per hour. If they are in diapers do $15 per hour.
If some are in and some are out...will that is up to you. Bout 10-15 is about the normal. |

It depends on what the usual rate is in your area, as well as factors such as:
how qualified you are, what responsibilities you'll have (cleaning/doing dishes/making meals, etc).
Where I live, I wouldnt expect a nanny to charge less than $8 an hour for one child, and more if there are more than one child.
For three kids, I'd say anywhere $10-15 per hour is fair. Of course, if it's a long-term job (like 40 hours per week), then you could negotiate a weekly salary that makes it financially possible for the family paying for it. |

For three kids from the same family you probably need to consider one rate, but certailnly more than you would charge for just one child. My daughter pays $55 a day (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 or 5:00 p.m.) to have two kids taken care of, a three year old and a one year old. Where she lives she would have to pay more than that for babysitting for three kids. You also need to find out the "going rate" in your area. With more kids I think you should charge more. Where my daughter lives no one is allowed to babysit more than 4 kids for pay without a special licence. I hope this is of some help. |

My wife does daycare and she charges by the hour per child, and if the parent has 2 kids she will give a little break. she charges 10 dollars per day per child, which the reason for that is due to where we live, I would go around like we did and see what the rates are and then charge by what all the others are doing. |

Well you should ask the babysitter what they would prefer. But I would say charging a flat rate for all 3 kids..not seperately. |

I'm a babysitter and most of the families I work have three kids in the house as well. They pay between 5 and 9 dollars an hour. It depends on how old you kids are to because if they are younger they are more dependent on the babysitter and that means more work. On a last note any money for a teenager is awesome! |

For one child I charge $10/hr, more than one between $12-$15 |

Charge $10/hr unless there are more than 4 kids, in which case, up it to $12. |

it depends on how old the babysitter is. I am 14 and i have done classes and i charge $7... if they are like 18 or older do $10 |

when i used to babysit, i usually got around 4$ an hour for each kid. BUT that depends on how long they're watching the kids for. if they're watching them for longer than 3 hours, you should pay them about 3$ for each kid. |

i charge about 5 bucks an hour and i babysit 2 toddlors /
but it depends also on how old they are. and how many kids you have
change a bit more, if they are younger children |

My expeerience has always been just charge by the hour. In other jobs you can have a big day or not, but you still get paid the same. |

When I used to baby sit I would charge $5 per kid, per hour. That was almost 10 years ago so that might be a little dated, so charge however much you are comfortable asking for. If the people you are babysitting for are really rich.. ask for more :) |

you should charge separately for each kid, but a little less with multiple kids.
like, if you are sitting 1 kid, it would be $3/hr, but with 3, it could be $2/hr each, and therefore $6/hr. |

At least minimum wage. |

you should skip how many kids there are and just charge $8 per hour |
