If they overpay you, then you must pay it back. If they underpayed you, then you would ask for the rest right? It works both ways. |

Whose fault it is isn't the question. You recieved monies that you did not earn, therefore that money wasn't yours, so yes it has to be paid back. |

If you made a mistake on your checking account and over payed someone, would you want them to keep the money? I think not. |

It's not ur fault they overpaid u, but u didn't earn the $ so u should pay it back. If u noticed there was a discrepancy u shoulnt have cashed it. If it was an oversight on your part it stinks but belly-up and do the right thing. |
