House Parties aren't such a great idea, as they can get over crowded with people you don't know, things can be stolen/broken, fights can break out.
What I always do works out fantastic! I invite a select few of my friends (usually 8-12 people) to come around for dinner/drinks. We usually end up sitting outside having a BBQ or ordering Pizza and playing drinking games.
It's people you know and trust so not too much can go wrong and it still makes for a great night.
If your bored on other nights and can no longer stand your own company, invite a few friends to come around and watch DVDs or something. |

Do you have the resources for a blow out? Do you want to deal with cleaning the mess that comes with a blow out? |

Don't invite more than 10 people. Keep it small, safe and fun. |

Depends how much you want to clean up. I recommend friends only, as they will be more respectful of your house and not trash it. |

If you have a good group of friends I would keep it casual.
If you have a few good bouncer friends - then go a little crazy, keeping in mind you will have left over people in the morning - that couldn't drive home! |
