Try and think up a product that you could make that would benefit people greatly and then patent it and see how you do. If you can come up with something that everyone would love then you would start making money, then you would give some to me!!! =P lol |

animals don't use money so you're dealing with a human comodity. in order to make money, you're going to have to sell something - goods or services. now that's not strictly an ability that we're born with, those skills are only learnt when you deal with people day in day out which most of us do, but rarely pick up on the 'tells' that psychologists are always warning us about.
I assume you have a certain ammount of people who you can call or a good network of people around you.
Other tips i'd suggest is doing something you enjoy, which if it's any good, will become something that your customers enjoy using or buying - something like birthday cards. The big corporations macdonnalds only sell burgers as a front to their real estate business which is worth a lot.

How much at risk capital do you have ? Anything much at all is worth a try in the financial markets. A few companies marketing training courses (options trading, etc.) More money win or lose than I am going to make going to my job next week, and you can call it in from your boat. A very wealthy guy told me once, "you can't be afraid to take a chance."
Otherwise, chip in with me. I aspire to become a concert promoter, with many of the details already worked out, such as broadcast partner, a big one. Got any idea what you could gross putting Alan Jackson or George Strait in Lowes Motor Speedway, or Atlanta, Joliet, Texas ? If you can develop a little credibility, let me tell you, it is staggering ! On a smaller scale, I'm looking right now to bring Willie Nelson to Florida in January 2007.

As a suggestion, of course, work for yourself with the help of a team (look at those who succeeds; they have teams). Are you near the North Carolina area? If not what area you from? I would like to share the courtesy to assist you along the way with giving you sound wisdom from friends I hang out with.
