How can I find work in less then 48 hours?
I need to find a job.
I have less then 48 hours.
What kind of places generally are hiring all the time, and will hire you on the spot if you walk in with a decent resume?

Would like to avoid food service in anyway, but anything else is fair game. Minimum wage is fine, but if I can get more great.

Should have added... Part Time.

I already have 1 job, it just isn't enough, and my roommate is already working 2 and pissed I'm not kicking in a 2nd income to help w/ the bills as well.

Not wanting to lose my roommate when our lease runs out because then I'll be homeless!

Did you go to college? Their job placement office will have lots of jobs on their board. Also, call your local community center, for recommendations. Do you have a church nearby? They may have a job for you, or know of a parishoner who is seeking someone to fill a position. Have a healthy and happy leap year!

in less than 24-48 hours there's only one place that almost guarantees hiring...labor connection and labor ready...work a day, get paid that day...hard work...pay varies from minimum to above minimum (8-12 bucks) depending on your experience, but it's honest work that pays and you can choose the days you come in (generally speaking)...got to get there uber early though to insure a spot...having a car helps tremendously...gl

Sorry, but food service is the only one I can think of, or telemarketing.

You can try gas stations and grocery stores but, as much as I hate to say this, you are probably going to have to do fast food, it sucks but you can always look for something else once you are less pressed for cash. You can always try doing an online jobsearch. The one on myspace is actually really good. It lets you specify part time and no experience and things like that. Just go to myspace.com and then jobs.

The best place to look is retail stores.

Craigslist is constantly having jobs posted. Also check the classified section of your newspaper.

go sell some weed the illegal way cause it is no way that you can get a real job in 2 days because you have to go to interviews and it take at least 3 days or 1 week and some times you have to go to another interview so it is no way to get a job in 2 days
