Okay it is simple, go to http://www.yahoo.com/ and click on the "Sing Up" link near the top. Then choose the choice you want on the next page. A simple free address will be fine. Just click on "Sign up for Yahoo Mail" on the first choice in purple. Now enter you First name, Then you Last name ect, ect. In other words "fill in the sheet" Then the last step enter the sucruity code and then click "read" the terms of service. Click "I Agree" and then you have an account that can be used for Yahoo messenger, Yahoo mail, any Yahoo service! Hope I helped.

Belive it or not, it's very hard to apply for a e-mail address for childern. If he is under 13, Yahoo or any other e-mail providers may not collect information. In order to activate a minors e-mail account, you must also have a e-mail account with the e-mail provider, then identify your self as an adult. The common way to authroize you will be by using your credit card, a tempoary .01 (one cent) hold will be applied to your card, then be taken off. After this your e-mail address will be linked to your son's and you should be able to set parental controls for his e-mail account. |
