I would look at your local home repair store for bungee cords or (a better bet) some straps similar to the ones truckers use to hold down their load. They have ratchets and are fairly easy to use. Ask any store like Lowes or Home Depot and they will be able to help you find them and tell you more about them. |

stupid answer, when the windstorm stricks , you just keep sitting there, if it's not enough weight, ask your family to join in! |

Hey Julie,
My hot tub cover survived hurricane force winds twice in the summer of '04 by placing 8x8x16 concrete blocks in all four corners.
Place a tarp on the cover first so the blocks don't damage it.
Have a great day!!! |

tie weights to the corners that sit on the ground (so it doesn't tear the fabric) and they will anchor it. it would be best if you had a cover that had holes in the corners already or you can do it yourself and then use those metal rings to pinch inside the holes so your fabric doesn't tear. |

Maybe try taping it to the top or blocks and tape |

make holes in the cover, then place grommits in the holes. the grommits keep the cover from ripping and tearing. then use heavy duty rope to tie the cover to the blocks on the four corners and then in the middle of each side. if blocks don't work, try five gallon buckets full of sand or cement. also, there are large heavy duty strips of velcro that you can buy at do it yourself centers. put that around the edge of the tub to attach the cover to as well to keep the wind from getting underneath the cover and moving the blocks |

I thought they made "clips" for them? I could be wrong You can call your local pool supply store and they would know. |
