To speak out use your diafram... the way you do this is by pretending your having a BM while your speaking and harden your belly, it really works. This will also help your singing voice. |

When you are alone, say AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. As you say it let it vary. Relax your throat. see if you can get it to come from your gut. After you find the stronger AAAAAAHHHHHHHH, tri IIIIIIIIIIIIeyyyyyyyyyy, EEEEEEEEEEEEEyyyyyyyy, OOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhh, UUUUUUUUUUUhhhhhhh, etc.

It seems that what your really saying is that you want to be accepted by the crowd of people that are contending for attention from other people. So you'd like your comments and ideas to be heard by the people around you. Personally, I would listen intently to the softest words whispered from someone I had come to respect as a source of valuable information. My point is that if the listeners don't appreciate what you have to say, then is it really worth the effort to gain their attention? Maybe it's just a general social conversation in a noisy restaurant or bar, where people don't expect to carry on really informative conversations. In that case, the person that commands attention may be the male or female dancer on the stage or one of your friends who likes to speak the loudest and tell jokes to entertain his friends. |

If you can't hire a voice coach, you will have to try different things. It's a matter of practice to find the "voice" you have and how to project it. Singers and public speakers used to know how to do it, but now they just put mikes on and turn up the volume.
