Try the do not call list and before they can speak and you know who it is, tell them your on the do not call list and you are reporting them. Jennifer |

go on the do not call list. but just remember that these people calling u are just trying to make a living same as u and i. so when they call, simply state "not interested, thanks" and hang up. |

We phoned BT and they can put a stop to telesales calling etc. It takes about 28 days from the time you order it for it to actually stop the calls. I used to get at least 3 calls a day, now i don't get any. This service is free. |

Just phone your telephone company, e.g BT or whoever and they will give you a phone number that you can call which will stop this. |

You could try the do not call registry at donotcall.gov or you could try and be angry with them or even say if they call again you'll call your lawyer. |

You can get in touch with BT they will be able to help. You can do the same with the post ref! junk mail get in touch with the post office and when they are not on strike they can put an end to that. I am sorry about the phone calls but i think its a sign of the times we live in,Its all about money,Every one in tele sales have their quota to fill calls to make people to talk to its not so much how much they sell but how many calls they make. best of luck. |

you can try going on the preferential dialling list, BT have the number but it does not work, we went on it and still received calls and told them we would report them as we had had enough, in the end we just changed the number and gave it to NO-ONE unless they were family. do not fill in any forms including credit card applications or competitions as sometimes if you do not read the small print your details are sold on to retailers and marketing companies. |

Registering with TPS does not stop international nuisance calls, and unfortunately , a lot of companies now use foreign telesales offices. If the call is from a UK line you can report them to BT and if they persist they can be fined. Most reputable companies respect TPS customers. |
