Well you could buy food coloring or food flavorings and make it look like chocolate or strawberry or vanilla and have her drink it like that...
Adding cocoa or chocolate syrup to the milk will make it chocolate, but I hesitate to tell you to do that all the time because of the sugar content...
She needs the milk for the calcium to make her bones and teeth strong as she grows up more... |

Try chocolate, try quick or ovaltine, try drinking yourself as an example, make sure there aren't lactose problems, try milkshakes as a treat. |

You can tell her how good it is for her and show that you and others really enjoy it. You can show her a video about milking cows or take her to a farm - if she likes cows, then she might enjoy drinking their milk. I don't think you can force her, however, without risking long-term problems. |

My little girl wouldn't at that age, but she does now, don't make a big deal out of it, she may change her mind. |

Would you like me to come over and have a talk with her... Being a milkman i think, no i know I'm the best to help you with this question... Flavor milk is most likely way to go... You can buy straws that turn your milk into flavored milk... It's a fun way to drink it... But just add a little more to breakfast cereal... She might not like cow milk, so try the another types... There is goats milk, soy milk eg... But there is other dairy product... Good Luck every milkperson is behind you... The fight starts with you and your child.... We must win this war... |

You can tell them to but it won't make them. I have a 7 year old who has never drunk milk in his life. He will have it on his weet-bix( so he can't taste anything but weet-bix) but that is all. I get dairy into him in other forms. He will eat cheese only in his sandwich( he only eats peanut butter in sandwiches so imagine that combo)and he will eat yogurt. I can tell you this is a big improvement for him. One thing i have learn't as a parent is you are responsible for putting the food in front of them it is their job to eat it you can't make them. My son's twin eats anything and every thing including milk but it took her till 4 1/2 to drink it. In the end i found she preferred low fat milk to full fat. She still won't drink full fat milk, watch out for flavoured milk though as these tend to rot their teeth as the have so much sugar in them |

Tell her the cows will be really sad if she doesn't. Emotional blackmail. Then take her to a farm to show her the 'happy cows'! |
