That's a sticky one.
You can't control how someone feels. But you can tell them how you feel about their actions and behavior towards you.
Be firm and direct without being hurtful or disrespectful.
Minimize contact and avoid doing anything that could lead them on or encourage them.
If all else fails, consider a restraining order.
Oh and one other thing, dont' think too highly of yourself either.
Unless their are seriously harassing you, its okay to be flattered by the admiration. It just means someone thinks you're pretty special. |

Why not just tell them that you don't feel "that way" about them, or tell them that you are already sweet on someone else. You're right to want not to hurt their feelings... this is a big deal to them... just try to let them down easily. |

Well, all you gotta say is "I'm sorry, but I can't. My parents won't let me date until I'm 18" or "I have a boyfriend, girlfriend, or both ;-)" or "I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm ready to date any one yet."

Look at this way, a lie is more painful than honesty. There really is no easy way of doing it. HONESTY is ALWAYS THE BEST WAY TO GO. When you are honest, it says a lot for your character.
I can understand now wanting to hurt someone, but really you just have to be honest.
Don't tell them that you don't like them because they are ugly and slow. Just tell them that they just aren't the person for you, that is the BEST WAY TO DO IT.
