I recently tried a Toyota Prius hybrid from a rental car when my car was being fixed and it was really nice. I drove the distance of what would have cost about 80 dollars in gas for my car and it only cost 20 dollars for that car. The gas is high but it is bad for the environment also because the cars are not made so that they keep the air clean for one. This is helping the environment because more people have to ride public transportation. It is probably saving people from getting killed in car wrecks too because less people driving means less accidents. We need to ride bikes like they do in other countries around the world. My boyfriend rides his bike to work every day. he has a car but he likes to ride his bike. That would ge t the weight off so we will not be the most obese nation in the world anymore. |

Don't buy it.
If no one buys a product (anything). The "corporate machine" still needs to make some kind of money.
One company will be forced to lower it's prices.
Since consumers will see that it is lower - they will only buy from that company.
The competing companies will lose business = money & will be forced to lower Their prices to have consumers buy from them and stay in business.
This is how economics works (I think), or is supposed to work.
but if consumers don't care how much it costs & continues to buy products at "whatever" price it is selling for - businesses will continue to raise the prices because CEOs need to keep their x million dollar status. (lol- but not really a funny joke). |

Like Blueberry flowers says, more people should bike.
I'd also like to see horse drawn carriages make a comeback.
This may actually be an opportunity for the science and transportation industries to push for the release of electric cars, buses and monorails.
While it is more positive than negative though, it still is hurting many people who are struggling to make it, who have families, who can barely get by.
Obviously there is NO logical reason for these increases.
It is only a part of the "serpentine's" destructive nature and plan to keep us all enslaved.
There is no way to talk them out of it. They are cold blooded as snakes by nature.
We must develop other means of transportation.
Zeppelins (that do not use hydrogen, obviously) an hot air balloons, as well as ultralights, might be good for air travel.
I doubt anyone will remember the ancient art of melding copper and iron to make those anti gravitational propulsion rods, again. |

best approach for the common person is to conserve gas...that is why the price per barrel of crude has gone down recently cause of the lack of demand....you wont see a price change right away but in the coming weeks it will drop a bit....so less usage means more available...cheaper prices...also be light on the gas....you dont gotta gun it all the time... you could write a letter to your local or state leaders but it wont change anything
and idiots say bomb other countries...that causes war causes higher prices....and nuclear bombs... on a lighter note they are using more crude but we cant control their booming population.... we have to invest in other options.....maybe anwar...but only as a last resort...we need to keep the wild ....wild.... and im not a tree hugger just have a bit more common sense |

Hello. There is no one specific person let alone one who would listen or care. A way to make them stop, in my opinion, is for people to get off this meaningless thing called money. It's just paper. People and the government put to much stock in this flawed organizational method. Bye. |
