#1 Sit in the front row! It's been proven that on average, front row students get one letter grade higher than the rest of the class. In the front, temptations and distractions are virtually eliminated and you'll automatically be on the teachers good side.
#2 Do all of your homework. Homework is designed to reiterate what was talked about in class. Also, teachers tend to make test questions off of their personal homework.
#3 When studying, focus on notes from class and homework. Teachers again tend to test on what they said or assigned as opposed to what the text book says. Going over the teachers stuff is much more effective than reading the book thoroughly. Remember, the teacher chose what to talk about and what to have you do as homework because that is EXACTLY what he or she thinks is important.
#4 If you have access to past tests, look for trends in the answers. Some teachers (not all) have favorite letters for multiple choice tests. I've had teachers that had about 50% B's on their tests. If you can find a pattern in previous tests and combine that knowledge with the process of elimination, you may be able to increase your odds without even knowing all of the answers. |

get a tutor to help you then study and practice the method that she or he taught you.don't be ashamed because you don't know something ask for help that's how you get good grades when you ask.and go to the library and get books on the subjects that you don't know. |

Study, and study some more, get yourself in a quite place were no one can bother you. I had that problem in high school. I just needed to get away from everyone then I could concentrate on my studies..no phones, TV, computers etc...I still do that to this day. I am finishing up my 2ND degree...Good Luck!!! |

Be a good student. To get help you need to ask for help, it doesn't come by itself. You need to actually try hard. You don't lose when you fail, you only lose if you quit. |

dont worry about it unless you get D's or F'sr a. life is about the quality of your charicor (I NOW I DIDNT SPELL THAT RIGHT) when you get out of school and you will learn how to learn. because schools are a mess. be happy and feed your mind with things you are interested in not dates and facts that are mostly their to contol you. |

Study in a quiet place. Schedule time to study. Use mnemonic devices. Study a little bit every day instead of cramming a whole lot of information at one time. Try to relate the information to something you already know.
Unfortunately, a lot of hard work. |

My advise on making good grades is to study in short time spans.(Like 30 minute intervals) If you study for long periods of time your mind will start to wander. Go over any notes that you take the same day. That way you can fill in any blanks or revise them. Since you use a computer try looking up things about time management and study skills. It sounds weird, but you will find some ideas that just might help. Good Luck! |

Just don't get distracted by others, even if other people think it's fun to fool around don't get distracted by it. Don't get mad over your siblings just because they bother you, pay attention to school, hand in your work on time and you'll get your grades up, trust me i'm a 91% average. I did the same thing that I'm telling you to do right now. |

Fairly simply answer- Work hard. You study, don't get it? Study some more until it's locked into your brain.
...Though for the record, try not to stay up tooo late studying. It's harder to remember stuff in the morning when you're lacking sleep. At least for me. |
