It really depends on what you are buying, TVs Washing mach, Fridges, etc are good value and good quality,bulk buying on loo rolls,kitchen roll works out cheaper, but for tin food ect then your local supermarket usually would be a better bet, as they have the special offers, as with bogof, |

It depends on what you are buying, don't assume its cheap. Shop around. Also its cheaper if you are buying in bulk for a large group/party/etc. Some of their things are cheap and others not. |

for common household items and food, it is quite cheap. you do have to buy in bulk but it is usually cheaper than a grocery store.
for specialty items like eyeware, cell phones, it can be expensive. |

Its amzing it may seem dear at first but then you kinder realise that you are buying in bulk rather than individually and it seems to work out better. Their food/ sweets/ meat/ drink items are good. Depends where you are buying UK or USA. In the UK its amzing and handy |

costco is like sams club you know from wal mart. you need to have a membership for both of them (you have to pay $50). over there before getting you can try samples if you wish and it is cheap but if you don't buy that much stuff the membership is useless

The one in Glasgow is not Cheap if your looking for single items or electrical goods... its ok! if you want a case or two of toilet roll etc... and even then its not really cheap... |

i reckon you save about a third on some things,but you have to compare prices,costo isn't always the cheapest,for the same product,but if you can join,it's money well spent |

For UK members - don't know about US.
When they first came into the UK they were brilliant. Then they realised that they could charge more to us idiots and they went downhill. Lots of things are cheaper at Sainsbury's, Morrisons etc. Other cash and carry outlets are better. BUT they are still the cheapest for good quality tyres, and by a mile. Also some furniture, some tools and stationery items. Not so good for wine and beer, as supermarkets often sell these less than cost. I will say however that you never get ripped off at Costco, and they do exchange things if they are not right. Aldi and Lidl have recently changed their policy on this and it is now a right pain to get your money back from these stores even when the things they have sold you are c**p. I have been a Costco member now since they first came into the UK and the savings on tyres alone pay for the membership. If it wasn't for that I would say don't bother. |

its depends what your after.
we tend to get stock for the cricket club in there
we also look for ourselves but dont always find the stuff we want much cheaper.
its best to buy in bulk n then you do tend to save.
again it just depends what your after. |

Costco and Sams club are both cheap, but you generally get larger quantities. It also costs you about $50 for a membership, so you have to buy a lot to make up the $50. Their products are great. |
