How come when u drop ur toast it always falls butter side down?
Mythbusters disproved this on tv... the only thing they did find that affected it at all was that by buttering it you made a indent on one side of the toast but this acctually made it fall butter side up more often then down....besides would you eat it if it fell butter side up.... that brings up the five second rule which they also did but I didn't get to see it all so I can't tell you the outcome...

It doesn't. This is a myth. In fact, they tested this on the Discovery Channel show "Mythbusters" and found that the toast landed on either side almost exactly 50% of the time.

My kids have been proving quite often lately that it doesn't always fall butter-side down.
It's just that it is so much more annoying when it falls butter-side down that you remember it more.
