i'm also 13 and im in the same situation
here is a list of things you can do and tips:
-babysit (normally the charge is 10 bucks an hour)
-facepaint at people's parties and/ or events( i actually once made $50 for two hours doing this)
- sell your used books and things on amazon, or cregg's list
- do odd jobs for people
-do chores around your house
- walk dogs for people
- call organizations like the boys and girls club and find out if they need jobs
-ask your parents if you get all a's or all a's and b's if you can have some cash reward
- in addition to this if you stop buying things like coffees and snacks, your money will add up faster
- if you don't have coustomers to babysit for you can put up flyers or ask someone u no if they no anyone who needs a babysitter
- if you don't have anyone to dogwalk for you can put fliers up and also make little business cards that say yuor name and phone number and walk around the park and give them to people with dogs (not dog walkers lol)
- and although this is kinda wierd im pretty sure americangirl.com has a post everyday that has a tip on how you can make money
-although this is kinda cheep you could ask your mom for $5 to buy a snack and spend like $2 and make $3 and do this a bunch of times
- lastly if you save the money in a savings account you'll get an intrest so it wil add up faster |

Try a newspaper route! You get alot of money , about $15-$25/week. I made 500 dollars in almost 6 months! I have a small route, and it takes only about half and hour to an hour! The money is worth it, you only deliver 2 times a week! Hope this helps. |

A paper route is a great way to earn money when you're young, provided you don't live in the inner-city... You could offer to clean peoples houses for them if you're into that, or pools, etc.

If you are a girl, make jewelry and sell it to friends and family. Or, you could go through your neighborhood and wash cars or offer to sweep there driveway or patio for any dontation. You may only get a dollar or two , but it'll add up. You can wash outside windows of people in your neighborhood using windex. Or you could ask your parents if you could have a "toy sale" with your old toys and put signs up in your neighborhood and at the entrance of your street. Good luck! Clean people's houses...vacuum, dust, laundry, etc. I'd pay a 13 year old to come to my house to do my work. :) Also, if you can't babysit, maybe you could watch someone's kids for a smaller rate while they are still home but want to get work done...
Also, do you have clothes/toys/etc that you could get rid of....either consign or sell on ebay? |

You'd be surprised by how many people actually want you to do it.

one really easy way to make money and be with your friends is through poker.
play like... .25/.50 no limit hold 'em. read some books and look on www.liquidpoker.net
