OK, having said that. I know how to configure mine to allow a certain site or select sertain items to pass through. Just remember, if you don't know where you are going and what trash you are picking up, you are at risk. |

All you need to do is configure the security settings in the properties. There's no need to fuly disable it and comprimise your computers security |

Go into Norton and "allow" the chat site. Probably part of the "Firewall" protection. |

look for the little norton icon in your toolbar by your clock. right click it and click disable. you can select a duration of time to disable it. but make sure to turn it back on when done.. and remember your more at risk to getting a viruse with it disabled |

You can temporarily turn it off by right clicking on the button for it and click shut down, you can always turn it back on, or you could change the settings so it lets you in more sites while it blocks the very bad sites. |
