I've been underpaid and I rang the payroll lady about this (she alone does the whole of payroll). She barked down the phone at me as if I'd announced world war 3!! I said to her, Calm down, it's just a normal conversation". I've written to her, emailed and left messages on her voicemail. When she did ring me back, she told me to see her at noon. When I went to see her, she had someone there and told me to come back in 10 minutes, which I did. The other person was still there and she told me to come back in half an hour. When I went there, her door was locked. I managed to track her down and I said to her "I've written to you, emailed you. Didn't you receive them? Anyone would think you're trying to avoid me". to which she replied, "Maybe I was". How do you deal with someone like this? I've managed to get my pay in the end, but how do you deal with someone like this in the future?
