Burp them out. Hic, and instead of cupping (you know hic-cup) burp ;o) If you cannot force yourself to burp, get some sprite or coke or something, and it will definitely help. |

I FOUND THAT DRINKING WATER SLOWLY FOR A MIN STRAIGHT ALWAYS DOES THE TRICK FOR ME BUT EVERY PERSON IS DIFFERENT. BUT I FOUND A GREAT WAY TO STOP SOMEONE ELSE FROM HAVING THE HICCUPS. IT WORKS ALMOST EVERY TIME ITS AWSOME. WALK UP TO THE PERSON AND SAY OH, HERE, THEN HAND THEM SOME AMOUNT OF MONEY, EVEN A QUARTER WORKS. THEY WILL SAY "WHATS THIS FOR" THEN SAY "DONT YOU REMEMBER, THINK ABOUT IT" , "YOU KNOW WHATS ITS FOR". THEN KEEP THAT CONVERSATION GOING FOR ABOUT A MINUTE MAKING THEM THINKING ABOUT HWY YOU GAVE THEM THE MONEY. THEN AFTER A MINUTE THERE HICCUPS ARE GONE. TAKE THE MONEY BACK AND SAY " HEY, YOU HICCUPS ARE GONE, YOU WELCOME." IT IS THE COOLEST THING IN THE WORLD. I DID IT LIKE 20 TIMES AND IT ONLY DIDNT WORK ON TWO PEOPLE. ITS SEEMS LIKE IF YOU CAN GET THEIR MIND WORKING ON SOMETHING ELSE THE HICCUPS JUST GO AWAY. |

Try these solutions:
1. Try to hold your breath, wait for a hiccup to come and after some time u will find hiccups are gone.
2. Have some water.
3. Eat something like sugar. |

Take a drink of water, bend over and swallow it. Or take a straw sideways and bite it between your teeth.

take a drink of water with the straw still between your teeth.... the second is for if you'd had a bit too much too drink and get the drunkin' hiccups! |

I learned this from my wife who is a nurse and it works extemely well. Close both eyelids and, using your fingers, put moderate pressure on your eyelids in the middle where the pupil is. Press moderately hard for 15-30 seconds or so. I hold my breath at the same time but it is the pressure on the eyelids that does it. It is a pressure point for some reason that works extremely well. And you can do it anywhere. Try it! |
