Starting a few days ago we have been getting multiple birds flying around my house. Large birds with wings spans between 11-14 in. We blocked off the kitty door to the attic, but i still got one this morning. They are brown and light grey, Large pointy long beaks. We are able to get them out a window or door but they keep coming back. Any advice? |

Buy you one of those big plastic owls and put up outside. That ought to cure your problem. Birds don't like owls, and they are so realistic looking too. It really works. |

Why don't you call the animal refuge people to come out to get these birds and see if they can find a way to prevent them from getting in your house. |

The birds could be coming in through the chimney or stove vent. Put one of those fake falcons on the chimney.
Check the outside and underneath the house for holes. Make sure your ca'ts aren't brining them into the house and losing them. |

If you mean you want them away from your home that would be difficult because the birds could be nesting or migrating there, you would have to find out why they are there. For example, if they are nesting, destroy the nest.
This is something that should be done by a licensed animal care facility, because it is dangerous.
You could try meshes on the windows and doors.
I would suggest contacting the local animal shelter or news station to find out if there has been any migrating by animals, mainly birds, to the area.
Sadly, if they have set up a habitat the birds may be there for a while, you would have to destroy or move the habitat, which could be a huge project.
You should just check with the local authority first. |

I would call a local animal shelter to ask if they have any ideas on who to call. Or you can call the local humane society. Or the animal control. I don't think they will hurt them and they may be able to figure out how they are getting in. |
