You could contact the seller and ask them to let you out of the deal. If you do this, then realize that they have paid a bunch of fees to list and sell the item. You could see if they would be willing to let you go if you paid them the fees that they would be out of. You can go to Ebay and figure out what the fees should be.
Other than that, there is not much you can do and stay a buyer in good standing with Ebay. You can say the item is not what was listed, but that still requires you to pay for it and then receive it and then try to get your money back. This tactic will probably result in you getting bad feedback. |

The only way really is to ask the seller to let you out of the sale. Ask as nicely as possible with as good of an excuse as possible. If they say no, you can just refuse to pay and will likely get negative feedback - unless it's a large sale, and they want to come after you legally for the $$. |

Communicate with your seller and apologize. I used to sell and if someone decided they didn't want it I would just email the next lower bidder for a Second Chance bid to complete the transaction. Don't ignore the seller or you will get negative feedback!! |

Either that or hope that someone outbids you, but be prepared to pay anyways.... |

question about this item. then tell the seller the problem and he may relist it. and ask each other to leave positive
feedbacks to not hurt your ratings. |

you could probably just contact the seller and explain your reason for wanting to get out of the purchase. Assuming your reason is good and not pathetic.
But I can tell you, I, as a seller (for 3 yrs) would rather have to relist my item-even if it meant losing a dollar or so for listing fees--and sell it to someone who wants it, then to force a buyer who changed their mind and will probably just leave negative feedback anyways.
Next time, be sure before you bid or buynow. I think you should ask yourself why you don't want it.
Did you find it somewhere else cheaper? If so, then that is a lousy reason for backing out because you should research prices BEFORE you buy.
Did you accidentally type in the wrong bid amount: for example $10.00 instead of $1.00?
Did you realize soon after you bought it that you have no way to pay for it? very irresponsible, but perhaps the seller will hold the item for you until your next paycheck-I am always happy to work with my buyers to help accomodate them.
Just think it over, and if you still decide you want to back out, ask first. Don't just not pay. That is sooooo wrong. At least have the courage to apologize and/or ask for understanding.

First ya have to burn your computer. Gas and a flame should do it but outside not inside. Then ya need to change haircolor, one of those new colors for kids would be great..purple, red, blue. The jus to make sure a move to France would prolly be a good idea with a move to Iran a month later. After that ya may have to live in a cave for a lil while...3months or so should do it. The I'd say your out of the auction and your free of responsibilities. |
