If you have the receipt, just take it back. Or, call a store manager and ask them how you should proceed. If you just walk in to the store with the security tag on the item, its gonna seem like you stole it. Uh...did you steal it? |

If you have your receipt, check for any contact information. Get in contact with them and explain the situation to them. Let them know that you either want a refund or exchange (if they still have the merchandise). They should be able to do this via mail.
The return policy meli50 posted is NOT valid for any merchandise purchased at Disney Stores or Disney parks anywhere other than North America. In fact, the Disney Stores in North America and the Disney Stores in Europe/Asia are not even owned by the same companies.
Also if the only issue is a security tag (though I'm more willing to bet it's an ink tag as not even the Disney parks utilize security tags), take your receipt and head over to a mall or department store to see if they can help you. There have been a number of times I've had guests bring stuff in from Disney World with ink tags still attached, and while we don't have the ability to take it off, there's another store in our mall who can as long as they have the receipt. So check your local stores. It's quite possible that some stores may have tag removers but not the kind on your item...as there are different styles of tags throughout the world. But it never hurts to ask. |

To prepare your return:
Make a copy of your packing slip for your records.
Please use the original packaging or a strong corrugated carton.
To expedite your return/exchange, please insert the packing slip, remembering to keep the return label printed on the front for shipping.
If your exchange order requires additional payment, please include a credit card number to be charged. Please Note: Money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks will not be accepted. If received, the order will be returned to you with a letter of explanation.
Pack and tape your package securely.
Affix the return shipping label.
For tracking purposes, it is important that you ship your package via United Parcel Service (UPS) or insured Parcel Post. (We cannot accept C.O.D.)
