I think its ironic that most people will only be humorous with someone they know...
I say humorous things to everyone I come face to face with like behind the counter at Wendys...only to have them totally ignore what I said as if I didn't speak.
This happens daily...but I don't stop talking to strangers just because the majority of them appear hateful.. |

Humour is a state of mind when it also makes the nerves in your body to relax.
There are many who are not "attracted" by this relaxed state and rather prefer to be in the rigid framework. So its all a matter of preference of individuals. We cannot authoritatively say they are living a miserable lives.
Frankly I have no idea as to how they get through each day. Will surely ask if I meet someone like that. But for me, a good splash of humour sees me through the rigours of daily life both at work and home..
