sit ups with your knee 35 degrees bent. do 15 in am & 15 in pm. when you start to feel sore this means your abs are working. Increase by 5 every week till you get to 30 in am & pm. Maintain exercise about every three days when you get to 30 reps each time. This will get rid of the flap and make it rock hard..... |

Your body is already programmed to retain fat in certain places. That's why people are shaped differently. The best way to lose fat in the middle is to lose fat allover. Every fat cell in your body holds the same amount of fat in it. How your fat cells are distributed is up to your genes. Doing sit ups will give you abs, but if you don't burn fat off your six pack will stay hidden under your keg.
It would be in your best interests to do cardio in conjuction with strength training. Do you sit ups or crunches, but run or swim or do aerobics also. Running is most effective for burning fat, but swimming is easier on the joints. |

You should try pilates. It really works on your core. It makes your middle lean and toned. And it's not too hard and doesn;t take much time at all. About 20mins. a day 3 times a week and you'll see results in like 2 weeks. |

Wrap your middle in sarah/plastic wrap and exersise your butt off! It makes you sweat more with the plastic. Concentrate your exersises on that area. Once you get weight on in that area it is the most difficult area to loose it from. Stop eating junk too!
Good luck. Work out, and work out some more.
God Bless! |

low fat diet and exercise.
You cannot just reduce your middle, exercising and low fat diet will help reduce it from all over. |

You cannot lose fat from an isolated area, fat loss is an all over thing. |

You get rid of it the same way you would get rid of any other body fat.....exercise and eat healthy. Pilates and Yoga is a good workout and offers great body sculpting. |

ooo baby baby. ive had alot of people like you ask that. have you ever tried a backwards sit up. it really works that middle pudgyness. just do a sit up but..well...backwards. instead of lifting your back..lift your butt. try running and sitting up straight. a straight back with definatly help. sit like a queen! and i guess the last thing to do is to control that diet. lost of fiber (fresh fruit, veggies, and whole wheat!) |

If you have the bucks, liposuction.------ One thing I've heard is some of those who have problems--even die -- have too much taken out on the same day--too much of a shock to the syastem I guess. So if you have a lot, I would insist on splitting it up over a couple of days. But this is only anecdotal information. Check webmd.co perhaps. |
