There is this guy at my job that loves to sing, he mostly sings opera or whatever rocks his boat. Bear in mind he does not have the best of voice. In addition he uses his pens as drums.
He sits right next to me and its hard to concentrate. He's driving me crazy! Everytime I look at him he stops and then he starts singing again! |

Tell him he is distracting you. That is not a way to behave at work. If he won't stop, talk to your HR department... I'm sure there is a policy about disruptive behavior. |

I would ask him respectively to avoid singing during work hours since it distracts you from your duties/role. If he continues to be a distraction at work you need to tell your manager since it is affecting how you do your job. |

You need to try the direct approach. Just say " you know, when you sing and play the drums and that kind of thing, I can't concentrate. Can you please stop doing that?"
It's perfectly okay to say that, you tell him why, you don't say he is wrong to do it, just that it causes you distress, and then you ask for what you want. |

This guy is trying to get your attention. Kinda like 6 years do. Just tell him to stop. If that doesn't work, have someone else tell him. (supervisor, husband/bf, his wife, ect) |

Just tell him look this is a place of business & you would appreciate that he would respect you and the others around by getting quiet so people can concentrate. If he doen't oblige, then have a talk with the boss. If the boss doesn't do anything about it, it means they don't value you as an employee & you need to go somewhere where they respect you for your hard work & concentration. |
