Racism isn't just about one race,it's an all encompassing definition, reverse racism is bullshit, racism is color blind, every race is guilty of racism.This doesn;t mean everyone is a racist, it simply means every race has racists within it, each race is equally guilty of racism. There's going to be those whiners who will say "Look how bad we treated the slavves" well guess what, unless we're 200 years old "we" didn't have a damn thing to do with how slaves were treated. The past is there for one thing and 1 thing only, to learn from, learn what to do, and what not to do. It's not there to drudge up every time you need to make yourself feel better about your total lack of understanding of another race. |

My experience with racism is that those who claim racism the most are generally the ones who don't even really know what racism means. Those who claim OTHERS are the most racist are generally the most racist themselves. Since THEY are racist they assume everyone else's motives are similiar to their own (racist.) An individual who never thinks they are a victim of racism, probably isn't racist. A person who ALWAYS thinks they are victims of racism probably are. That goes with groups of people as well as individuals. |

I feel it uh..well...racist?! Honestly, mankind has been hating on each other since the dawn of man. It will never change, never. I am not being a pessimist, but its the truth, Our immediate history shows us that "whites" enslaved "blacks", after Black men were freed, then those silly white people started hating 'cause of the melanin levels in the skin. No many people hate Arab looking people, and many blacks hate whites, and those green martians hate us all....racism is a part of life that will be as constant and certain as the sun rising, I just try to do my part by not judging the individual before I get to know him. |

i beleive we are all equal , we are all human, color of skin makes no difference to me, and i beleive we should all be treated equally, not 1 race have more than the other for free hand outs ,i like people from all cultures and different countries, it makes this planet more interesting, who would all want to be just white , black or indian etc? u tell me , thats just my opion |

I think it is an ugly reality. I've been in rooms with people who claim not to be racist and yet they will make subtle remarks about persons of color. I also think it is impossible for a caucasion to ever truly understand what it's like to be judged (negatively) on one's color. What it's like to be denied service, to be looked upon suspiciously, to be given the once over - just because of skin color. It's sad and unfortunately - the further away from the coasts I get the worse it is. However, I have wonderful, intelligent, compassionate and caring people in my life that don't even see color on me. I just wish everyone else would. |
