you can send the user a message though ebay, you dont need their email. It all depends on what the person accepts.... Most people pay though paypal because it is fast and easy. Paypal could use your checking account or credit cards. |

You have to check what kind of payment they will take will be on bottom of the auction page. When you win the bidding you are sent a email from ebay. You can also open a Paypal accout at no cost and link it right to your bank account. Thats the safest way to do it. Oh make sure the person will take a paypal pament. |

You pay after you win the bid. The seller should send you an invoice.
To avoid getting riped off I suggest you open a free paypal account at http://paypal.com and pay with that account. They will get you your money back if you get an item "not as described" or if the seller is dishonest and you never get your item.
Make sure you check the seller's feedbacks and ask questions before you bid on the item.
I personally never buy from sellers that won't take paypal because if you don't get your item you are screwed and all you can do is leave a negative but you lose the money and no item.
Also never reply to ebay/paypal emails directly from your email address. Always use the ebay system to email your sellers and to reply to messages you get from them. This protects you so you don't end responding to spam and giving them your bank info or passwords.
Ebay is a good place to grab the good deals as well as to sell what you no longer have room for in your home and the more you buy or sell the more you will know but in the mean time stay away from sellers with too many negative feedback and always use paypal so you can guarantee your money back if you are not satisfied with a transaction. |

You don't pay after the bid unless you win. There are a variety of ways to pay. Check the seller's listing for their accepted payment methods. I think all of them accept Paypal which is the safest way to pay. You also have additional protection offered through Paypal. However, you can often pay with credit card and some seller's will accept money orders. |

You really need to do some research before you start bidding. It is a good idea to start by getting a Paypal account, but make sure you know what you're doing before you start all that. |

1) You bid.
2) If you win, you must pay that amount
3) When you win, you will be notified. You will get an email depending upon your accout settings. Otherwise you can login to the ebay website and check.
4) There are several options for paying. You can pay via credit card, debit card, paypal or you can even mail the check. |

You pay after the bid, and you have to actually WIN that bid in order to receive the item and pay for it. To pay, you need a DEBIT card, or you could do money orders, in case you don't have a DEBIT card. After you win, you are asked how you want to pay and you proceed from there. |

You pay after you win the auction. When you are viewing an item (before you bid on it) scroll down and read the seller's payment options. Sometimes you can use a credit card, or send a check. Sometime you have to use PayPal or a money order. It depends on the auction. There is also a contact seller link in the upper right hand corner you can use if you are still unsure,
Hope this helps you and good luck bidding.

you have to check the listing to see what the seller has specified. usually it is by check money order or paypal. you pay AFTER you win. ebay will email you with the checkout instructions if you win the auction. its simple really. |

You don't pay until you have received a notice that you have won. How you pay depends on the seller. If they take Paypal and you pay that way, you just click on the link and enter the information. If you are paying by check or money order, you should receive an email from the seller giving you instructions and their address. Never send cash. |

some things you can buy upfront but other things are auctioned. it says it when you are viewing the product. you pay using paypal only. NEVER PAY USING WESTERN UNION!!! there are too many scams out there. safest thing to do is use paypal. go to paypal.com and set up an account. you need a checking account i think. |

You have to pay via the options listed on the seller's auction, after you win the auction. I only bid on auctions that accept payment via "Paypal" (www.paypal.com) because it's so easy and fast!
Addl info below.
Ebay "How to pay for an item"

You bid on the item, and if you are the highest bidder when the auction ends, you have won the item. You can look on the item's listing to see what time it ends (under the current price).
The next step is to pay for it. But FIRST check the listing to see what kind of payment is accepted (it should say in the item description or toward the bottom of the page). If it is PayPal only, you will need to get a PayPal account to buy this item (using a credit card, debit card, or E-Check). Don't bid on the item if you can't pay for it!!
If the seller allows money order or personal check, then they will send you an invoice with the total and the address you should send the money order/check to.
If you need to ask them for specifics on how to pay (or anything else), there is a link on the item's page (on the right side) that says "Contact Seller".
You will need an Ebay account to bid on items and to contact the seller.
Good Luck! |
