Divide tasks into small, easy to do parts. Also try to ignore the things that disturb you, ie: TV, Computer (if you can help it), iPod, ect.
Here is an example how to divide the tasks into smaller parts. Let's say we have a report due in 1 week. Here is a made-up schedule:
Day 1
-Find information for 30 minutes
Day 2
-Find information for 30 minutes
Day 3
-Write rough draft for 30 minutes
Day 4
-Finish rough draft
Day 5
-Write Final Copy for 30 minutes
Day 6
-Finish final copy
Day 7
-Relax
By doing a little work each day, I find it to make things easy in the long run. I think that working for about 30 minutes a day will not be tiring, but you will still get quite a bit done. |

Gee...how about doing what you say you're going to do right away rather than procrastinating about it? |

Honestly, I think we all procrastinate at one point or another. When you find the answer to that question, let me know. |

Think about the negative outcome that will happen if you procrastinate |

By setting a firm deadline on which something has to be completed. There should be a reward for having it done before the deadline, but there should be negative reinforcement for not having it done by the deadline.
A pattern of establishing reasonable deadlines and rewarding when those deadlines are met usually helps. |

Perhaps it would help to make goals. Realistic goals and write them down so that you can visually focus on them. Then you have to actually try to do them. Make it a game of catch an release. If you do something, reward yourself. Make it fun!
Good Luck! |

learning how to budget your time...it can be especially hard on people who have so much to juggle in their daily lives. but i say, start a planner and try to stick with it or work on the most important things to do and work on the least important last. |

You just need to do a task right when you think of it. If the dishes need to be done, do them. If the laundry needs to be done, start a load before you start the dishes. |

You can start by finding your true focus. People tend to slack off when they dont like what they are doing. Might as well drop those ... they're usuless in achieving eternal glory and personal satisfaction ... |
