A cheque is just a formalised direction to your bank.
You can actually write anything on them,but it confuses banks unless they know your account well ( i.e. you've a few million in there )
When you check a cheque count five items: date, signature, amount (words), amount ( numbers) and payee. |

Just fill it up with the particular amount and the payee. Be sure to take note of its given date. Also, you have to put your official signature.
Also, be sure you know your balance, or else you will be issuing a bouncing check. And that means legal action. |

and make sure you draw a line after the amount (in digits) so nobody can turn your £10 into £100, also be sure to write "only" after the written amount (example: "ten pounds only") |

If you don't know how to write a cheque or use a cheque book, either
1 You've got a lousy bank - they should have given you all the necessary information before they issues you with one
2 You having (sorry, trying to have) a laugh...... |

first of all have one ... lol.. then you write out the name of the company you are paying money to .. then the amount written in words .. then you sign and date it .. on the stub make a record of what the cheque was for then when you look back at it youll know what your money was spent on .... |

wow now thats a tough question
usually what happens is you write a cheque, making it out to the person/business you want to pay, record the details on the stubb and hand over the cheque, making sure you have sufficient funds in the account to cover it |
