how long's a piece of string? my gran lives in spain and some days the postman cannot be bothered to deliver the post and others it is delivered every day.

Gemma emms right...I live in Spain also, and somtimes i have got things the next day....But some things have taken literally months.

All I can say is don't post anything in July or August as it is always terrible then. Sometimes I've received things in a day, but other times it takes weeks. I have received things from China quicker than the UK?

It would be easy to say a week however the royal mail say that standard first close post in the uk can take up to 10 working days so just imagine how long it could take..Good old royal mail

I've known letters I've posted to family there to arrive 3 days later. Equally, I've known them take 10 days. In each case, they were sent Airmail with the same postage.

According to royal mail it will take 7-8 days via airmail but after 3-4 days its handed over to spanish mail so rest is dependent on how quick they deliver
