As long as possible. Men need to know the mind before they know the body or they will not appreciate the mind and leave you. The more time you spend with a man without having sex the more likely you are to stay with him. |

Until after you're married. |

If you are both out of your teens, and you are interested in something more than a quick fling, at least six dates. If you are still a teenager, wait a lot longer...at least sixty dates. |

If this is just a fling then anytime is fine. If you are serious about the relationship then take time to know him. |

I think you should allow him to earn the sex. Dont just give it to him. Make him work for everything you give him |

Marrage. If he can't wait till then, he probably won't have control of other things in his life; ie, spending, working, investing, etc... |

You shouldn't have to make him wait. you will know when you are ready and when the time comes he should be greatfull to be getting any. Take care of your self, and god bless:) |

1.) Be sure it's legal. Both partners should be above 18.
2.) Look at all possible problems that may arise, and make sure you can agree how to deal with them.
3.) Make sure your families won't disown you.
4.) Give a good reason why you want to. "Curiosity" doesn't count. Be honest.
If everything works out and nothing goes wrong, good luck. |

You should wait until YOU are comfortable with the idea and are prepared to take your relationship to that level. Never let him pressure you into doing something you do not want to or feel ready for. I agree with Jezebelring on this issue, though. Sex should never be used as a bargaining chip or a means of manipulation. Aside from complicating your life and relationship with unnecissary drama, it's also seriously bad kharma to manipulate people in the first place. |

as long as it takes you to feel comfortable about giving yourself to him. but REALLY take your time in making this decision because you dont want to give yourself to him and then him dump you or something like that and that is going to make you feel horrible. so just take your time and do NOT let him pressure you. if he cant wait and dont understand that you are not ready, he is not worthy of you giving yourself to him. |

sex is not about "making someone wait", as if it were some sort of bargaining chip women use to get certain behavior out of men. it is about when it feels right, and when you are emotionally and physically mature (if you're young).
the best, longest-term relationships i've had in my life, i had sex on the first date. if your religion or youth precludes that, then you've got other issues to deal with. but please don't embark into a world where sex is something you withhold from someone you love for no good reason except that you can. |
