I think its great! My method before was to keep my e-mail account on hand and double check words that I wasn't sure of. This is much easier and faster so I can beat everyone to the answers. Just like now.......Oh damn foiled again! No really I think its a great addition to Yahoo Answers. |

tell ya the truth,I haven't been on the computer for at least a day,so this is news to me about check spelling.Come on be serious,not everybody in the world can spell correctly.Me for one.We're not all perfect like a computer!!Ya I went to school sorry wasn't to good in English and spelling.Been out of school for at least 25 years.But come on I can figure out what people are asking for a question,if I know the answer or at least have an opinion on a subject I can read it.Once again there's an rule to follow.Got to watch how you spell words? I guess we're back in school!!!!!1 |

I do. I am a terrible speller and rely on it a lot. I am glad that they have added this feature. I also like getting charged 5 points for asking a question then getting 3 back for resolving it, it will encourage more people to pick a best answer or put it to a vote. |

Although I have a huge vocabulary and spell more exactly than most, misspelling is unavoidable and in Microsoft Word I have spell check on all the time. It is not cute nor smart to purposely misspell a thing while thinking that is cool. However, in most of my novels I do employ some common or neologisms: Like, I dunno and clutching tool, etc. Besides, for those who spell better than I, it has to be valued a valued tool too. |
