Stop buying insurance. It's not the health care that's outrageous - it's the insurance. You can't expect people to go to school for years and years, work 24 hours a day during a residency, pay their dues - and charge beans.
Direct your anger at the proper source - and insure yourself. |

healthcare in this country is shameful. I have had 20,000 in medical bills.....
:( :( :(
pepper - I dont believe that people are blaming the DOCTORS. I am blaming the insurance and pharmacuetical companies. U say "stop paying insurance, and then "buy your own insurance". what? Listen - i was going to school full time and worked 2 part jobs at 30 hrs/week. I got sick and now have way over $20,000 in medical bills. How is that acceptable?
And Jesse's Girl -- I am a good citizen paying my share of taxes - and for you to say "i dont want my taxes to pay other peoples medical bills.." what are u talking about? No one has paid mine! My life would be a lot better off, i tell u what....
HEALTH CARE IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT |

when you see the way doctors and rns live, you know that we pay way too much for it. |

Of course we are paying to much. But people keep sticking with healthcare and paying for it so the price isn't going to lower any. If anything it will go up. |

Big time. The price tag for subpar care has become outrageous in the U.S. I am hearing of more people, and personally know of a few, who have flown to Taiwan, or Singapore for surgery. In both cases i know personally, they got treated very well by the hospital staff, received adequate care, and cost only 20% of the norm price here. |

I don't mind paying for my own. It's the taxing me to pay for other people that bothers me. |
