What makes you think you're about to win a million pounds in the Lotto? We call them cheques by the way and not checks. Did you buy a ticket? Sounds like an internet scam to me. Do you have to pay any money to get your money out? Seems unlikely that the prize fund would be exactly a million. |

Actually, in response to the lotto being a scam, my mother-in-law won the same thing, UK Lotto, 1,000,000 GBP.
I thought of the possibility of it being a scam, except they ask for no sensitive information. Only Reference #, Lotto #'s, and Batch #. If it was a scam, wouldn't they need more info?? SSN, Credit Card #, Bank Account #, Pins, Maybe even an address and phone #? Also, no they did not ask for money to be sent in advance |
