depends on what coin you have. But it would be a lot of weight. I have a penny collection worth about 30 dollars and it weighs about 35 pounds. |

$50 in pennies will weigh a lot more than any other coin. |

It depends. $50 in quarters would weigh less than $50 in pennies. |

depends on what the mix of coins is...
250 quarters, 500 dimes, 1000 nickels, or 5000 pennies each would weigh differently, but equal the same amount of money |

It depends on what kinds of coins you are using... pennies would far outweigh dollar coins. |

It depends on what the coin makeup is. For example 50 pennies weigh a lot more than two quarters.
penny standard weight = 2.5 g
nickel standard weight = 5.0 g
dime standard weight = 2.268 g
quarter standard weight = 5.67 g
Half Dollar Standard Weight = 11.34g
Using the above weights you should be able to calculate the weight of any combination.
But, for simplicity I'll just say 11.34g |
