The WSJ reported that the exchange rate for Fri in late New York trading of currency was $1.98. If it takes about $1.98 USD to buy a British Pound you can get your answer by multiplying 1,500,000 x 1.98.
My math says the answer is $2,970,000. |

Since 1 pound is 1.9794 dollars...... 1,500,000.00 pounds are 2,969,100.00 dollars.

Phone your bank!!! Banks deal with currency transfer all of the time. They will be able to tell you the currency conversion of 1,500,000.00 pounds into USA dollars.

Many were right at some time, in the past. Desert was the only one that used a platform that gives live updates.
Forex is traded 24 hours a day 365 Days a years.
www.xe.com is the only public access site, that I know of, that gives live updates. Even through the weekend.
Give Desert best answer for going to the right site. But dont take his word for it, its probably already changed. They updated every few minutes. Check it later today it will be a totally different number.
But he was the first one to get it right, at the current time. The some gave you friday closing rates. But Desert gave you todays.

Most of the other post didnt come from the exchange price but companies that would trade you and those prices included commission. Some are higher then the exchange price some are lower. Depending on what they traded to what. Desert as I said was the first to give you the correct price. this price is how it is chaning. And now this is the new price.
