i dont think it's money we need. we need more knowledge and manpower to feed and teach others to feed themselves.
give a man a fish, he will eat the whole day. teach him how to fish and you will eat his whole lifetime.
or something like that. |

that depends on what you want to feed it. Are we talking bread, beans, and water? Or steak, pasta, and wine? Obviously there is room for debate....there is too much middle ground...chicken, rice, and juice? |

The money exists, no question about that..
But it is the logistics and politics that get in the way.
It is difficult and expensive to transport and distribute a billion pounds of rice and wheat to the dozen places that need it the most.
We dont have to provide everyone meat and potatoes..
In America, and every other civilized country on the planet, our domestic pets eat better than half of the rest of the world.
World hunger is entirely optional today, and, sadly enough, nothing seems to be changing the reality that is still exists. |

Good question.
It's not really the money, it is the desire and initiative to teach others to grow their own food, and engineer water to feed their crops. I believe the UN should be involved in that one. |

I agree with everyone answers. The world is just to selfish we all have to have that new cell phone. The best big screen tv. The three hundred thousand dollar home. The best clothes Until the world can see what they are not doing to help each other out. We can have all the food you need to feed the world but it just won't happen. So people donate what you can because every little bit will help. |
