Don't sell it on eBay. That's not a good forum for rare books.

Try a used book seller to get an idea, then look into sites like abebooks.com

Have you tried searching for similar example to see what it sold for? Remember, on eBay, you can set a minimum price, so you don't have to settle for peanuts.

I have no idea. I've never seen a Bookano book before, but just a quick look around the Internet shows that they are collectable and can be fairly expensive.

I also looked at the completed auctions on ebay, (do an advanced search and look for completed auctions only) and the two books that are listed there went for $180 and $417.

If those prices sound fair to you, I would list the book, starting at $100, and see what bidders are willing to pay. It's best to list items so that the auction expires during the weekend. Ebay has a huge audience of bidders so you can be fairly confident that the price you get will be at least reasonable. Also, make sure that you state you are willing to ship the book worldwide. That way you'll be able to get bids from book collectors around the world. More bidder = higher prices.

I really think you should do some research on this book as it is not something that you see everyday. I don't know where you can start as I had difficulty trying to find out info on an old book that my father wanted to sell. If you do go to ebay, make sure you put a reserve price on it, if someone wants it bad enough they will pay it. I just don't know what would be a good starter price. Be careful as people portraying to be specialists as such could rip you right off. If someone offers you a couple of hundred to take it off your hands, then you know it's worth checking up on properly. If you do decide to sell on ebay, click on "advanced search" and select "completed listings only" and type in the name of the book. This will let you know if the book has sold on ebay and how much for. Only problem, if it is a rare book then most likely one hasn't sold on ebay before, and it only shows sales in the last 2 months (I think 2 or 3 months, not sure) in the completed listings. Worth a try.

Looks pretty expensive to me, but eBay is for bargain so i suggest around $50-$70

Galen B
I don't know the value. You need to locate people with an interest, such as a collector group (maybe yahoo or google has such groups) and let interested people know you will be putting it on ebay.

I think everyone on here is probably around the right price unless you happen upon some person with a specific interest in the book. Pretty neat though. Good luck.

moi
go to a book binder and get a pricing
