Pennies on the dollar.
Pawn shops should have a sign that says "Hello Sucker" above the door. If you really need cash, sell it to a private party. Selling to a pawn shop is the last of the last resorts. |

I'm afraid not very much...
Remember, diamonds are over inflated 300%, and the Pawnshop guy "knows it"! He isnt going to pay "top dollar" for something that was way over valued in the first place.
Anywhere from 20 bucks to a couple of hundred I would guess, depending on the size of the diamond, the clarity and other things like how hard it is to "resell" it, and how many he has, and a myriad of other factors that come into play.
Either way, your going to be very dissapointed on what you get...
I wish you well...

You'd be better off selling on ebay are to some random person on the street. They won't give you anything for it. Real diamond don't matter, you can take them the Hope diamond and they'll offer you less than 100 dollars. |

You do not provide enough information. What kind of diamonds? Are they flawless? What carat are they? What about the ring itself? Gold? Silver? What carat? What is the condition of the rock? What is the condition of the metal? If you don't know the answer to these questions, maybe you had better get it appraised before you try to sell it. You may well get ripped off. There is no way anyone here can answer the question accurately without more information. Even then, without seeing it, who knows? |

not much probably...probably not no where near what you payed for it |

the truth as I see it, so it is

rule of thumb one dollar per point.... one carrot = 100 points... of grade and color mean a lot in a store that knows what the stuff is really worth... most pawn shops dont want your stuff they just want you to borrow the money and pay it all back at a rate that just kills you... 240% is about the max they can charge.... |

How much did you pay for it? How big are the diamonds?...There are a lot of things you're not telling us but I would try to sell it to a Jewelry store before a pawn shop. You'd probably get more money for it there...but do a price check thing. "How much would you give me for this ring?" and then sell it to the highest bidder. If you could wait...I'd put it on eBay... |

Basically, not much. I paid about $700 dollars for my engagement and wedding band (with diamonds) and all they would give me was $50. |
