wow. that's not a question people usually ask. it's so personal... i would have to say, now that i think about it. i'm embarassed by my answer. i think i go days at a time without praying! that's aweful!!!
we're raised to pray every morning, night, and at meal times. i went to a christian school and we prayed before every class began. but since i have gotten to college it's been a... volentary thing. and it's been hard to force myself to do something i have always taken for granted.
i've fallen into some bad habbits since being away from my christian school and my church, and my family. i just hope that i can convince myself to change back to the GOOD habbits they tried to instill in me when i grew up. |

Well, obviously before I eat. I also have a set time that I pray in the afternoon.
I also will do it periodically throughout the day. Not anything long or drawn out, but maybe a "Thank you Lord, when something works out, or "please be with so and so today," if someone comes to mind.
So I guess everday, several times a day. |

i don't pray as much as other people do. i don't have a religion. i pray when i'm stress or if i need help. |

I go to Bible study on Thursday nights and church every Sunday. There I can praise God and thank Him for all my blessings. I find that when I'm home, I don't pray very much...maybe twice a week. There are too many distractions like the TV and radio. That's why I go to church.... |

That depends on what you mean by praying. If you're asking how often I regurgitate words composed by another, the answer is never.
However, I regularly thank the Divine when good things happen; for the sunrises & sunsets, and for the great bounty in my life. If I need extra strength or guidance, I request grace and open myself to Divine intervention.
I believe that Christ's lost message is that our Creator is open to relationship with us. I believe that God appreciates acknowledgement for the majesty of creation. So, when I see a fabulous flower, or a perfect summer day, I thank the Divine for the design, the creation, and the sharing.
So, my answer to your question is - quite frequently. |
