You know... The oldest woman alive (I think she turned 115), Well, they gave her a Birthday party, and she looked half dead. :- She still enjoyed it. So, this goes to show, you can never be too old for a Birthday Party! Even at 115. |

By the fact that they are old, they should be given special attention now, because you won't be able to do it after they are gone. |

I don't think you are ever too old to celebrate your b-day. I cherish birthdays because I get to spend it with my family and friends. |

You're never too old to enjoy yourself. No one is too old to have a birthday party. My great-uncle had one when he was 102! |

I agree.
How old is too old?
NEVER.
My Mom, every year, used to make 2 cakes, one for me, one for my twin (we liked different kinds of cake). Cards. Gifts. From family and friends.
What fun!
My 1st husband, his Mom used to send him a card in the mail with $5 on his Birthday.
(It's not like she was broke, and that's the best she could do..)
I didn't get it. Nice that she sent it, but - that's ALL? Doesn't she want to SEE you? Make a cake? Wrap a gift?
WE did that for HER...
And, my family did it for HIM.
I always make the cake (or a cheesecake), wrap the gift, get the card, for my family and friends, every year!
Just another excuse to be happy! |

You're never to old for a birthday party. But, it does depend on the setting. Yes, giving a 15 yr old teen a "family" party with cake's and balloons is old. |

Birthday's are special days and should be celebrated. I think that parties and presents are a great way to celebrate. It's always great to have friends and family around no matter if presents are brought or not. |

You're never too old to have a birthday party, but the way you celebrate changes. The change depends on the person. Just ask the guest of honor what kind of party s/he wants.
If s/he's a teenager or older, I'm guessing it will be a friends-only party...maybe outside of the home - ex. a bunch of friends check out a movie; a cake with the immediate family is nice, too.
If s/he's in her 20's, going to a dance club is fun.
I just turned 30 and a group of friends and I went to a comedy club and had dinner.
Tonight I took my Dad out to dinner for his 57th birthday. For dessert, I made him his favorite cake. We had a good time. |

It would depend on the individual person I think. BUT no one is 'too old' to have a party...if that is what they would like. |

I think that there is no age limit on birthday parties. As long as the person enjoys the party - continue to do so! |

absolutely!! no one is ever too old to be surrounded by family and friends who care for them. and the older the person, it just might pick up their spirits. sometimes as people age, they tend to think that people forgot about them, but a birthday party would be just the thing to show them they are loved! |

We gave my grandmother a 100th BD party. Over 90 people attended and she enjoyed it greatly! Any age is a good age for a BD party. |
