Try to be more active. Develop interest in some hobby. Join a Gym. Play some sport. Go out. Learn to play a musical instrument. Write letters to friends. Make new friends.

Think back in your childhood and make up a memory that you had a tramatic event happen. Make yourself believe it really happened and then seek therapy on how to deal with it. That should keep you occupied for a while.

If you have your basic needs met, and you are healthy - join the Peace Corps., lead a scout troop, become a clown and entertain terminally ill children - the world is full of possibilities.

Well, a good first step would be to set some personal goals. For example, you might start by taking up a hobby or leisure activity that interests you. Also you could plan a vacation to an exotic foreign destination or just go on a road trip to somewhere you've never been, like the Grand Canyon for instance. Start reading a lot. You can go to any bookstore or library and find books on almost any subject you're interested in. Get involved with a club or organization that you share common interests with. This is by no means all you can do, but it's a good start.
