Yes believe it or not there was a time when no one had a cell phone or a computer! It wasn't that long ago either. I am 26 and when I went to high school 10 years ago there weren't any of these things really. The cool thing then was pagers! Anyways as some one already stated we would just wait around for a while if that person didn't show use a pay phone or go home and call them. Its really not all that difficult to find a payphone even in these days when cities are considering getting rid of them. I think thats a bad idea because not everyone has a cell phone. |

Try and imagine that you are in the deepest part of the Borneo jungle and be imaginative. How do you think the human race has survived all these years?
Maybe neither you nor your friend have communication devices but you can use cyber cafes to send each other emails or arrange to meet at a designated place and keep checking it at pre-selected times. |

Just like we used too, if you were'nt gona make it somewhere on time you told the person in advance. If this had'nt happened you'd wait 15-20 mins then leave for home and ring them to give them a mouthfull. |

We would just have to do what we did before email, mobiles etc. Wait for a while, if they don't turn up use a pay phone or go home and ring them from there! It wasn't too difficult as I remember!! |
