You just kind of pick up more american slang the longer your in america. As the first guy said, watch TV, talk to people and just listen. You will not lose your accent completely, but thats a given.

you can try accent loosing classes. they'll definitely help you to lose your accent. try to make a search online to find a school in your area. |

I would recommend seeing a speech therapist if are are really serious about ridding yourself of your accent. They are, after all professionals who can help you. |

Hey at least you try you speak english. good for you.. not expecting us to learn your langage.. nothing wrong with accent just keep learning the langage.. Hate that we are expected to learn spanish. Why should we when they came looking to take over our jobs!!! Something not right with tht picture. wouldnt you agree. Not that I don't like mexican population.. just think they should learn english. Never before in all the history of america did one group get such special treatment. Did they push the langage of any other immigrants which I know if we all go back in time our families came from someplace other than usa.. So what is up with this spanish is our second langage??? |
